Conveyancers Noosa

We know that anyone thinking about buying or selling property will have lots of questions – that’s what we’re here for and we’re only too happy to help you.

Our expert local Noosa conveyancers can answer any questions you have about conveyancing and are available to help 24/7.

Among other things, we can explain:

  • stamp duty and stamp duty concessions
  • what a caveat is
  • buying property off the plan
  • cooling off periods
  • what being ‘under contract’ really means
  • the vendor’s statement
  • what a vendor is
  • buying at auction
  • what an electronic Certificate of Title is
  • building and pest inspections.

While other conveyancing businesses and property lawyers charge around $550 to review your contract of sale, at Settle Easy, we don’t do this.

After all, you might decide not to go ahead with the property purchase and the cost of those contract reviews can add up.

It’s why our local Noosa conveyancers offer all customers FREE no obligation contract reviews, so you’ll know exactly what you are getting into BEFORE you seal the deal and sign on the dotted line.

We’ll take a really careful look at the contract and highlight anything we think you should know about. We’ll also explain anything you’re unsure about – no question is too big or too small.

We think you’re entitled to know exactly what the different parts of your contract actually mean, so you can make the best decision for you.

Conveyancing fees Noosa

One area of conveyancing our local Noosa conveyancers are most often asked about is stamp duty. We’re asked how stamp duty is calculated, what stamp duty concessions are available and when stamp duty must be paid.

Here are some quick answers for you:

  • You can claim a first home concession for transfer duty when acquiring your first residence if you meet certain requirements
  • The first home stamp duty concession only applies to a home valued under $550,000 and can save you up to $15,925. The home concession may still apply for a home valued over $550,000
  • You do not have to be an Australian citizen or permanent resident to claim a concession, but you must meet the eligibility criteria. Additional foreign acquirer duty may apply if you are a foreign person
  • To find out if you are eligible for a stamp duty concession and to work out how much you’ll need to pay, a great place to start is the Queensland Government website that covers the topic of stamp duty in great detail.

How much does conveyancing cost in Noosa?

Our local Noosa conveyancers can also explain conveyancing costs – we’ll totally upfront about our conveyancing fees.

After all, buying or selling property isn’t cheap and the Noosa property market isn’t showing any signs of cooling off right now.

At Settle Easy, your local Noosa conveyancers appreciate that 2020 and 2021 have been especially difficult. That’s why we’ve discounted our professional fees by 20% until 30 June 2022 to make your property journey more affordable.

So, until the end of the current financial year, Settle Easy conveyancing will only cost $880 (including GST) instead of our usual $1,100 (including GST).

Our Noosa conveyancers can also explain any home owner grants you might be eligible for and explain all duties or taxes you might have to pay – there’s nothing worse than costs you don’t know about – especially when it comes to buying property.

To get a head start on this, you may want to visit the Queensland Government’s official source of information about this via the Queensland Government Revenue and Taxation website.
