Online conveyancing, how it works
Fixed-fee conveyancing and property transfers, handled by qualified Australian property lawyers and conveyancers, fully online.
The legal work, handled online
Settle Easy helps people buy, sell and transfer property in NSW, VIC and QLD. Qualified Australian property lawyers and licensed conveyancers handle the legal work, with one fixed professional fee agreed before work begins. You can open your matter, upload documents and track progress online, without visiting an office or working through piles of paper.
Online does not mean you are left to work things out yourself. A named lawyer or conveyancer is your point of contact. They explain the documents in plain English, answer your questions and keep you informed as the matter moves forward. You can see what has been done and what is needed from you.
From contract to electronic settlement
For buyers, we review the contract before you sign, explain special conditions and cooling-off rights, and identify issues that need attention. A standard detailed contract review has a 48-hour turnaround. An urgent review is a separate service, and off-the-plan contracts are priced separately. We confirm the scope and fee before starting.
We arrange property and title searches, check the results and liaise with your lender and the other party's representative. For sellers, we prepare the contract of sale and the disclosure documents required in your state, respond to buyer enquiries and manage the deposit and exchange. Preparation starts when you instruct us; timing depends on the certificates needed.
As settlement approaches, we confirm adjustments and the funds required, coordinate with the other parties and arrange electronic settlement through PEXA. The online process supports the legal work: professional judgement and responsibility remain with your lawyer or conveyancer.
Choose the service for your matter
Our buying conveyancing service covers pre-purchase advice, searches and settlement. Our selling conveyancing service covers contract preparation, vendor disclosure, buyer enquiries and settlement. For changes to ownership between family members, partners or related parties, explore our property transfer service, including transfer documents, duty assessment and lender requirements.
Understand the costs before you start
Our fixed-fee pricing separates our professional fee from government charges, searches and stamp duty. These third-party charges are passed on at cost, never marked up. Professional fees are quoted exclusive of GST. Your quote and cost agreement explain the work included and any additional costs relevant to your property.
If this is your first purchase, our first home buyer guide explains the steps and state-specific rules. When you are ready, get a conveyancing quote for buying or selling, or contact us about a transfer. We will confirm your fixed fee before any work begins.
